SMCTA was fortunate to be invited to make a profile introduction at the 9th Trade Association Committee (TACOM) meeting on the 3-Feb-2021. The TACOM meeting was graced and chaired by Ministry of Trade & Industry (MTI) Minister of State (MOS) Low and Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) President Roland Ng respectively.

TACOM was set up by SCCCI as an action oriented, business-led platform to identify and solve challenges faced by trade associations, so that trade associations can play a stronger leadership role in transforming and growing our local industries.

There are currently 13 Trade Associations (TAs) in the TACOM committee supporting more than 160 TAs at SCCCI.
