NTUC Training and Transformation worked with SMCTA to utilise the Operation & Technology Roadmap (OTR) tool to support SMCTA's manpower and operational transformation requirements.

The OTR workshop was conducted over 5 half-day sessions, with the last session ending 11-Mar-2022 (Fri).

The OTR helped SMCTA to visualise how its association activities can grow and the ExCo can transform by capitalising on the right drivers, products/tools, services, and technologies. Through the OTR workshop, over 40 improvements areas are identified, which include workshop standards and operations, IT, Business-to-Business (B2B), end customers journey, knowledge sharing, members engagements, industry sandbox projects and so on. The ExCo looks set into kicking off the key projects based on priorities over the next 3 years and beyond.

The OTR roadmap plan is not set in stone. The ExCo may make change to it based on actual developments, giving full flexibility to SMCTA as we move forward.
