SMCTA President Rex Tan and General Secretary Danny Hoe participated in a Trade Engagement Session for Transport, Storage and Logistic Clusters at the Jurong Town Hall on 3-Aug-2022 (Wednesday).

The event was organized by Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) and was attended by 8 other Trade Associations, such as Singapore Vehicle Traders Association (SVTA), Singapore Motor Workshop Association (SMWA), Singapore Shipping Association (SSA), and Singapore School & Private Hire Bus Owners Association (SSPHBOA), among others.

The goal of the dialogue was to gather challenges and feedback faced by different transport related industries, and consolidate the issues for further discussion with various Government offices such as MTI and MOM. Many of them have raised common problems which surfaced due to Covid-19 restriction and manpower challenges.
